I have an May 30,1864 Arkansas Treasury Warrant and on the back is a period ink stamped THOS.P.MARTIN JR----FORT WORTH,TEXAS.

I can only assume that Martin had a business in Ft.Worth during the war and the Arkansas Warrant came in as a transaction and was then passed on with his ink stamped advertisement on the back.

I do note in P.Rochette's outstanding book that a private Thomas Martin was on the roll of McGinnis' Tarrant Co.Militia Company in Pct.3 dated June,1861.

My question is,who was this fellow Thomas P Martin Jr.
