Col Sul Ross' Expedition using 6th TX and 1st MS C

Looking for information of Sul Ross' expedition on 26 Sep 1863 to stop the 15th Union Corps out of Chatanoga, TN. Ross had just brought the 6th Texas Cavalry back from Tennessee to the Big Black area, when he was directed to mount an expedition to stop this Corps from controlling the rail systems of northern Alabama and Georgia. Ross' expedition boarded the train at Tupelo taking the Mobile & Ohio to Tuscumbia, AL. On arrival he set up a system of surprise attacks for 6 days that drove the Corps crazy. Though numbering 10,000 the Union Corps was forced to retire across the Tennessee river toward Corinth and gave up the Memphis & Charleston which they were supposed to hold. Ross made a dash to Moscow where he had a splendid fight before retiring back to Grenada.
This description came from Victor Rose's book on the Ross Brigade. Does any one know of Union Reports of this occurrence? This is all I have found.
