For those of you who might have been fishing around for my free newspaper database over the weekend, last Friday evening the University of Texas at Tyler posted a new website, with only the new material linked to it. Everything else went to http://www2.uttyler.edu so my core webpage is (at the moment) at http://www2.uttyler.edu/vbetts I have been in contact with the University webmaster, and she says that this week we'll at least get redirects, and that eventually the page will go back to www instead of www2. Who knows when that will be. I would keep both options in mind and try one and then the other if necessary.

It might have been nice to have been notified by the University rather than by researchers across the state who happened to know where to find me. Gotta love IT folks.
