Does any one have knowledge of any dispatches, writings, or papers of these men. They commanded various units of Texas Calvary from the Army of New Mexico to the Trans Mississippi Department. Green was KIA in 1864 and Steele was Adj. General of Texas after the war. My Great Grand Father Wiley Robbins[W. Robin-W. Robins]served under both of these men during the war.
