I'm looking for any information board members may be able to help with concerning my great-great-grandfather John Daniel Douglass 2/10/1822-8/21/1899. My grandmother told me he was CSA. He was born in Gadsden County Florida but I think he served out of Texas. He was married to Rebecca Jane Houston(1827-1864)(she was Sam Houston's niece) and then Lucretia Eveline Haddox (1846 - 1920).
I'm interested in finding out as much as possible about his CSA service.
