My line is through Nichodemus' son, Eli. He eventually moved to Hunt Co., but his daughter, Nancy Casteel Meek [who m. John Hightower in McNairy Co., TN while the family was still there] eventually settled in Titus Co. [later Franklin Co.] TX. The Keith family was instrumental in the beginning of Mt. Vernon, the county seat. The Keiths and Hightowers were in TX just before statehood and have been in Franklin Co. since. Being a very large family, both Keith and Hightower, there are multitudes of descendants from that marriage. I'd love to exchange information with anyone from either line.
