Re: Woods' 36th-32nd Texas Cavalry

Hi, I recently went to the Civil War exhibitions in the Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens in San Marino, California. In one if the exhibits, there was a letter by Thomas R. Berry to a Confederate widow named Minerva Sparks Reed about her husband dying in the Alexandria, LA (Skirmishes, Alexandria, LA in 1864). The person I'm looking for information on is Minerva Sparks Reed's husband. Through doing searches on the World Wide Web, I could only figure out that he was part of the 36th Texas Cavalry.

Thanks for any help!
