The Van Buren press of Arkansas reported on July 3, 1861 that Lieut. J.W. LUBBOCK, was an Aide-de-Camp to Gen. Ben McCulloch; but noted that Lieut. J.W. LUBBOCK was on duty in Texas.

Can anyone identify Lieut. J.W. LUBBOCK and point me in the direction of any records regarding his service.
