Just a reminder that the 150th anniversary events for the Battle of Galveston will take place this weekend down in Galveston. The event will kick off Friday night with a couple of really unique presentations on the battle between CSS Alabama and USS Hatteras. Andy Hall and I will be leading walking tours and William C. "Jack" Davis will be giving a couple of lectures. That is all in addition to the reenactment events on the Strand. I hope to see many of you folks down there.
