I am trying to get information on a kidnapping by bandits / soldiers at the King Ranch of Texas in the summer of 1865. According to the newspaper published then in Matamoros two of the sons of Hiram Chamberlain were kidnapped by bandits. Hiram Chamberlain was Richard King's father in law and the two young men were his , Chamberlain's sons. His daughter was King's wife. Any help will be greatly appreciated Thanks , Charlie Peal
