I've discovered that someone has already submitted an application to the Daughters of the Confederacy in connection with service of Christopher Columbus Wright, son of Robert Dawson Wright. It is a "cousin" who lives in the Angelina County area. That application has been approved.

I have submitted supplemental applications to my local chapter for the Wright brothers, Robert Dickerson Wright, John Wesley Wright, Christopher Columbus Wright, and Isaac Edward (Alexander Talley) Wright. I found military records for everyone but IEW; only pension ap by his wife for his service and it is based on affidavits so may not be able to use it for proof for UDC. Also may have issue using service of Robert Dickerson Wright and John Wesley Wright who were in Hughes Artillery having enlisted in 1862. They both deserted in 1863 while on marching orders to Louisiana.
