I am researching Hart's Arkansas Battery, which was captured along with several Texas units at the Battle of Arkansas Post in January 1863. The prisoners were subsequently released at City Point Virginia. Most of the CSRs for Harts battery end at that point and I find very little information on what be came of the release prisoners. The is a notation in the CSR of one of the battery officers, Lieutenant William T. Tiller's CSA Cards, which lists his units as Reif's Company, Hart's Battery and Jones Tx.

Any Idea what unit "Jones Tx"? would have been?
