In archived threads I've read about W S Boothe and letters sent home to his wife while he served with the 25th Cavalry TX. He is my 3rd great grandfather and I've assembled quite a bit of research on him, but would love to know more. I'd especially love copies of any letters. This spring I am taking my 84 yr old mother (Boothe's great great granddaughter) to visit family cemeteries in Liberty and Jasper Counties and to track down Boothe's homestead based on Texas General Land Office records. Now we can stop by Navarro College and see one of his letters, thanks to this incredible forum!
