You will find most of the people on this site are people who have spent time on the subject of the war and the things connected to it. They all have some information that makes the story fuller, and more interesting. Any question that you might have is open as long as it is about this conflict and/or about Texas and this war. Most of us had someone who was in it. Many have someone who died. Some feel this more than others and believe that when we talk about them, they live again. Wish you well, and I would say you need to real something on cavalry tactics of the Napoleonic Wars to understand how that arm was suppose to fight. Then read about the way they fought in this war. You will then fully understand my post. Good health and good hunting to you.
