Neither he or his widow are listed in the Index of Texas Confederate Pensions.

According to his Find a Grave Memorial, he served in Company F of Likens’ 35th Texas Cavalry. This unit was organized October 23, 1863. There are no company muster rolls for this regiment to be found in the Compiled Service Records at Fold3.com. Hence, proof of his service will not likely be found.

I did a search at Ancestry.com in their Military section. No joy.

Find A Grave Memorial # 67301588
