N. P. Phillips, Company K, 30th Regiment Texas Cavalry
Company K Muster Roll for July/Aug, 1863*, records him absent, in arrest and confined in jail, entitled to Corp. pay till 20 Aug.

* They were then stationed at Middle Boggy, Choctaw Nation

It’s confusing where they were July 23 - August 23, 1863. Camp Bankhead and Limestone Gap, Choctaw Nation are locations noted in the Regiment’s Record of Events.

However, he could have been anywhere, AWOL or under arrest for some misconduct?
