Barnet A. Christopher, 18, Private, Capt. Erwin’s Company, Grinted’s Regiment, Arkansas Infantry,* joined for duty and enrolled June 24, 1862 at Caddo Gap, Montgomery County, Arkansas for 3 years, having traveled 115 miles to place of rendezvous, died February 15, 1864 at Camp Sumter

* This company subsequently became Company I, 33rd Regiment Arkansas Infantry
