Would someone who is able to visit the Texas State Archives in Austin please look up Captain Williams Seamans' Company of Texas State Troops. They were originally mustered as the Mount Hope Guard in NW Tyler County at or near Peachtree Village. I believe they served in the 2nd Brigade of TST. I know that William Seamans was mustered into Confederate service at least twice in Galveston. One of those times he served in Kirby's 3rd Battalion. Anyway, I would like to know if you can find anything at all....perhaps a muster.
