I'll be looking for it tonight on Amazon as Showalter's time in San Antonio in 1863 and with Ford's Cavalry in 1864 directly relate to research I'm doing on a man who served under Showalter until deserting in April 1864. I've dug up a lot of service records and letters to track their movements through that period.
