I consider myself very unfortunate to have never participated in one of Ed's battlefield tours. Hearing others tell of the great times and experiences they had on his tours always made me envious. It was my good fortune to have at least attended two of his lectures. Not only Ed's knowledge of the topic, but his unique mannerisms and delivery made both memorable experiences. Ed may be gone, but his legend will live on in those he inspired by his dedication to history. RIP
