Born 10/4/1835. Roll of 1/62 shows him as assistant Q. M. Roll of 2/62 shows him detailed to wagons. Present on rolls of 3/1/62 to 4/63. Present on rolls of 5-10/63 and 4/5/64, detailed as regimental hospital steward since 12/30/63. On 8/10/63, while at Morton, Ms., he applied for permanent status as hospital steward, approved 9/4/63.
I found that he moved to DeSoto Parish, La. in 1865 and became a successful business man. Died 1/2/1900, buried in Mansfield Cem., Mansfield, DeSoto La.
