Does any have any knowledge of Joseph A. Tivy being promoted to Captain. I have data that he was a 1st Lt in A of the 31st, but not Captain. His stone in Kerrville and a Historical Marker nearby say he was a Captain.
On the 25th of Feb the SCV will clean his memorial site on Tivy Mountain and re-deticate it for his Confederate service. After 3 PM in the afternoon. Visitors welcomed. Camp 1938 Kerrville & Fredericksburg.
