I was really confused with your first post because I knew I had read that Alf Johnson's Spy unit had been in Arkansas before Parson every got there and had actually been the only Texas Cavalry unit in Arkansas until Parson got there in spring of 1862. Thanks for clearing that up for me . Threw me for a "loop" for a minute . I went back and reread Karla's post thinking maybe I read it wrong .
