Re; Jerry Coffee's reference to the Horrell-Higgins feud. Are there detailed sources available for this? In 1873-1874 5 Horrell brothers from Lampasas ranched in lincoln County NM Trritory and were involved in the bloody little "Horrell War." It was really a feud on racial lines; the Horrells versus hispanic settlers. The US Army finally intervened. I would appreciate any information on this Texas feud and particularly sources. Thanks.
