Trying to locate possible burial site of Andrew Wiley Gray, 1st Sgt in Capt. J.L. Smith's Company I, 1st Regiment, Texas Partisans, 30th Texas Cavalry. Reported "dangerously wounded, groin" in the Battle of Poison Springs on April 18th, 1864.
I understand burial in the field if KIA, but if wounded sometimes moved to medical care. Burial localized on death.
