All afire to fight, a history of the 9th Texas cavalry is one of the best regimental histories I have ever read. It reads like a Novel. Hats off to Martha Crabb!! The 9th Texas cav and the others of Ross's brigade were unbelievable. Every Texan and all WBTS followers should read this book!!
