in Ancestry for Civil War Service Records, I found
Name: BRIDGES
Company: D
Unit: Good's Batt'n. Texas Cavalry
Rank - Induction: Private

Allegiance: Confederate

My ? Bridges was killed during the Civil War in the
battle of Mississippi. How and where Can I find this record and possible learn his first name? In reviewing
the "Texas in the Civil War Homepage" I saw a
Dallas TX Artillery Battery (Capt John J. Good's (Capt.
Jame P. Douglas') Artillery Company; 2 Jul 61-4 May 65)
and read the articles in "The Texas Handbook" but saw
no link for the muster list. Any help is most appreciated.
