Your M.M. Landers is not mentioned in my book that addresses the Civil War era in the area between Oklahoma City to Dallas and from the Louisiana line (Bowie, Cass, and Marion Counties) west to Childress down to Jones County, Texas.

I have published a 1,022-page book including a 134-page Name Index that is 70% from handwritten records and 90% from contemporaneous records. ..My book is described on my website. ..Two cohorts, to whom I dedicated my book, spent hundreds of hours helping me because they wanted these records transcribed, interpreted, and indexed. ..Two others spent an inordinate number of hours helping.
