Colonel Dudley L. Jones, Commander, 9th Texas Cav

Colonel Jones was the commander of ther 9th Texas Cavalry Regiment and Acting Commander or the Ross Brigade at the wars end. He moved from North Texas to Houston where he practiced law. He served in one of the Constitutional conventions (66,68, or 76) and died from a food blockage? not to long afterward and is said to lie in an unkept grave? Where? I have made several attempts to locate him without success. One group in Houston said he wasn't important enough. After all he had only been a colonel and not a movie star. He was less than 42 years of age, and may have been only 32 when he died.
