Received information on the 30th Texas Cavalry, also
known as Gurley's Texas Cavalry/First Texas Partisan
Rangers. In this information it states:

Engagement, Galveston, Texas (detachment) Jan. 1, 1863

I can not find where this unit is listed as having took
part. Can anyone help with this information?
