I am doing research on Woodruff and Jackson in the Civil War.
The 12th Texas was in the Battle of Hill's Plantation on July 7th, 1862. Hill's Plantation is in Woodruff County.

I am looking for any information of their time spent here. When they arrived, were they camped, other action seen here and when they departed. If anyone has any reports, accounts, maps or any other info that would help understand the 12th Texas Cavalry's time here it would be much appreciated.
