Do you, by any chance, have a complete roster of the 19th Texas Cavalry? My great grandmother Lydia Marks Potter, w/o Absalom Potter of Dallas County, Texas, was the sister of Watts Marks, Jr. who served with Co. B. of the 19th. He enlisted on 21 Mar 1862 for the length of the war. Traditionally, his father-in-law, William Hardy Bennett, enlisted at the same time. According to family tradition they left with their horses valued at $100 and $25 worth of equipment and returned after the war on those same horses. I have not been able to locate the Civil War record for William Hardy Bennett and was hoping that you or someone else might have the roster of the 19th to verify Bennett's service.

Thank you in advance for any help that you might be able to give me.

Regards, VirJean Potter Bozarth
