Landers, Marcus M[anning]: Enlisted 18 Nov 61 at Ft Arbuckle by Mercer Fain for 3 yrs. A PVT in Co ’A’/ Scanland’s Squad. Paid 30 Sep 62. [In 1864, he had a freight business on the frontier; in 1871, he froze to death when he was caught in a storm on Red River.]
