Thank for your post and most especially the genealogy. My intrest in the WBTS started with my genealogy intrest.

My records show that James Alfred Holcombe was the fourth child of William Alfred Holcombe and his wife Eva Sebrina Porter, born Oct. 18, 1839 in Maury Co. Tennessee

James Alfred married Mary Amanda Lockin Dec. 10 1865
Children 1. William A Nov. 18, 1866 - Bell Co. TX

2. Nancy S. July 9, 1869

3. Mattie F. Dec.10, 1870

4. Willie Inez April 28, 1874

5. Eva Lee Aug. 7, 1876

6. Jimmie Mar. 29, 1879

7. Josephine Feb. 11, 1882*

8. Helena Feb. 11, 1882*
*A lot of twins throughout the whole family tree
James Alfred is the 7th generation of the immigrant William Holcombe of Virginia who came from Wales in the late 1670's
