I am trying to find as much information as I can on this relative of mine as I can. I can not find any mention of his name on any of the 7th calvary rosters. Could you please help me?

My aunt did a family history and was only able to find the following information.

At age 15, he volunteered and joined the Confederate Army and participated in skirmishes at Mansfield, Blair's Landing, Pleasant Hill, and others. He volunteered while living Palestine, Texas and served with the 7th Texas Calvary in Green's Brigade. He was small in stature and was very often used as a runner and called upon to do scout work. He came home through the war without being wounded.
