Young-Sanders Center invites you to attend the Red River Campaign Symposium on September 22, 2007 in Franklin, Louisiana.

Pre-registration for our one day event is $30.00 per person. Registration at the door will be $40.00 per person.
Lunch is included with the registration fee. Your attendance and support will be greatly appreciated.

Lectures and Speakers:

Importance of the Red River Campaign: Gary D. Joiner, Ph.D., (Louisiana State University, Shreveport-Bossier)
He is the Director of the Red River Regional Studies on the LSU-S campus.

History of Fort DeRussy: Steve Mayeux is president of the Friends of Fort DeRussy, Inc. Steve is an agriculture consultant in central Louisiana. He is particular interested in the War in the Red River Valley.

Archaeology & History of the Union Ironclad USS Eastport:
Charles Pearson, Ph.D. is a senior Archaeologist with Coastal Environments, Inc. an enviromental consulting firm headquartered in Baton Rouge, La. Pearson resides in Appomattox, Virginia.

Henry Gray's Louisiana brigade at Mansfield: Arthur W. Bergeron, Jr., Ph.D. (United States Army Military History Institute, Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania).
