The Dick Dowling Camp # 1295 will be sponsoring Living History and Artillery Battery Demonstrations commemorating the 144th Anniversary of the Battle of Sabine Pass on Saturday, September 8th, 2007, from 9am - 4pm at Spindletop / Gladys City Boomtown Museum at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. It is free to the public and reenactors of all military branches, North & South as well as civilians are welcome. Lunch will be provided to everyone in period attire.
