Yeah company C . Let me restate my original question.
He is shown removed from the roster in custody of
the Houston County Sherriff on murder charges along with his brother Robert. Both were charged for the killing
of James Moffatt. All listed in Company C. Question:
At some point was he reinstated? How? Why? There are indications he was at Mansfield and Jenkin's Ferry. I am
suspicious that he was a notorious liar. What happened to
the murder charges? He lived into the 20th century, fathered my great grandmother,and possibly was "Black Irish." Has nothing to do with transcription or whether
he was in Company C. Not in question.
