I am just starting on Edward Wempee, Baylor's Regiment Texas Cavalry. I believe he was my great grandmother's 1/2 brother. I have yet to receive his NARA record(s). I would like any info anyone might have on him. Only thing I know is he was born Yell Co., AR and moved with his parents to Erath Co., TX.
