The Capt Milton Stanhope Austin Chapter (#2606) of the Daughters of the Confederacy will be holding a grave marker dedication on Saturday, September 15th at 2pm. It will be at Shiloh Cemetery in Campbell (Hunt County), TX. We will be honoring Pvt Elisha P Gaines (Co D, 3rd TX Cav) and his son-in-law, David Y Wilkerson (Co B, 37th TX Cav). Everyone is invited. We would love to have a big turnout. Period clothing appreciated, but not required. (Be sure to bring your lawn chairs!)
