I have a little info. on the 14th.
Organized as a horse artillery battery in Sept. 1862. Designated as the 14th Field Artillery Battery on Nov. 19, 1864. It was armed with four six pound smoothbores in May 1865.
First Commander was Captain E. Abat & Captain George R. Dashiel
Surrendered by General E. K. Smith on May 26, 1865.
