Please help locate where the Scott-Dickson Chapter No. 197 was formed in 1898 as part of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

Scott-Dickson Chapter, United Daughters of Confederacy, No 197, organized 1898 in probably in Collin County TX, but may have been in New Mexico since Regina Artema George m-1932 Clayton, Union Co NM to Clint Otis Aaron, and had 2 ch.

About 1935 Regina Artema George Aaron (b-1914) entered the UDC on the Confederate service of her grandfather, I. D. Sellers of Blue Ridge, Collin County. ..Mrs. Aaron included the following information about her Uncle James Patrick 'Paddy' Bourland (1853-1935), a nephew of John Simpson Chisum (1824-1884), in her UDC application.

" ... 'Paddy' Bourland helped J. S. Chisum drive a herd up the cattle trail in 1865. Chisum sold over 130,000 cattle. Bourland then established a store in McAlester, Indian Territory (now Pittsburg County OK). Paddy was an uncle to John William Sellers, a McKinney businessman. ..."
