Yes, thank you. I did try the S&S website--no luck. I am trying to verify whether or not he was in TX with the rest of the family at the time of the war. I was told he was Union, and others from the brothers who served were Confederate. I am suspecting that David stayed in MO when the rest of the family moved to TX in about 1850. He would have been young, but old enough to be on his own.
