Does anyone have information about the post-war activities of the the 3rd Michigan Cavalry in Texas in the last half of 1865? Some sources suggest that this unit, which eventually musterd out in San Antonio in Feb. 1866, was involved in expeditions in South Texas to the Rio Grande during that time.
