Thanks so much !!!! Francis' parents were, Elijah Dodson and Sarah Conner. His family was originally from Wilkes County, North Carolina ( my Land Roots are there ) his paternal grandmother, Francics Isbell Land was a sister to my gr,gr,gr,grandfather. F.M. was born abt 1834 in Talladega County,Ala. He married on July 4,1865 to Lucile Cottrell. at Reese,Cherokee,Tx. F.M. died in Cherokee, Texas in 1873. Buried at Larissa, Cherokee,Tx. I noticed an Elijah R. Dodson in the same unit. Probably a brother ???? ( Elijah Jr. ) thanks again and God Bless !!!!
