alan, o'neils, i know his csptain was a r.d reddon. i have a letter from him dated dec.17, 1861 and he was in camp at tuscumbia, alabama. his brother was named john hamilton was in the same unit and he survived the war but my gg=grandad died of the measles in march of 1862. my problem is that i don't know where he died at, or where he is buried at? he also had another brother goin the same unit late in war, 1864, named joseph! phil
