johnny, i don't think that is right man. the 1850 census i've seen has him born in natchitouches, la. age:25, dadborn in kentucky, mom born in maryland.dad shows to be a planter and white, mom keeps house and is black. he's shown to be a mullato. 1860 census they are not in louisianna any more but they pop up in texas,nacogdoches. this coincides with a geneology report my uncle had done in 1986 on my g-grandmom's family the seelbachs. i thank you for your time that you have donated to my cause. if you are in the dallas/ ft.worth area i'd love to at least feed and buy you a beer as i am in restaurant business.cell# 817-680-3531 phil
