I am working with Graham family members here in Nowata County Ok. trying to put Gideon W. Graham's book into a family history program.

I have both "The Dawson Graham Allied Families" by Gideon W. Graham and "Rogers Dawson Graham Journal" by Florence G. Arritt.

This starts with John Graham, b. abt 1777 in N. C. married
abt 1800 in N. C. to Mary ?, b. abt 1781 in N. C. She died 1898 on Brown's Creek, Coryell Co., Tx.

Gideon Graham b 1818, d 1902 was their son, m. Elizabeth Minnix abt 1840. Elizabeth b 1823, d 1899

I show Capt. Gideon Graham entered the Florida War abt 1840 and remained until the Seminole Indians were subdued and moved to Ark. in 1843. Served under Col. Coffee.

Another source from personal knowledge, shows, Gideon and his brother Jessie were burn in Tenn. and raised in Jackson Co. Alabama.

Do you know anything about a Graham reunion, held in Killeen from time to time. Cannot locate Bill Graham in Jourdanton, Tx. at this time.
