Thanks for the information.I have found the following.
Capt Gould's Co D of the 3rd Tenn Cav was indeed made up of men from Red River County Texas, they surrendered at Ft.Donaldson, after exchange they became Co K 23 Tex Cav.

Co L (Texas Invinsibles)14th Ala Inf was from San Augustine County,Tx mustered near Richmond,Va Oct 11 1861 and was temporarlly assigned to 14 Ala Inf until
Mar 8, 1862 when they where replaced with an Ala Co. They then became the 2nd Co K 1st Tex Inf. Benjamin F Benton was Co Commander and was KIA At Gaines Mills,Va Jun 27,1862.
