Hello Linda: Thank you for sharing your family history re: the Loyalty Oaths. I think it really heightens our awareness about the "truth" of heinious actions during the CW years and reconstruction. Some folks refuse to accept the hardships/attrocities that some women were subjected to as well as the brave Southern Boys. Do you ever post on the "Women's" Board? I should imagine you have many more stories handed down that you could share with us.
